New Year Party at the Yelton's

It was a very mild Saturday evening on January 21st. Criss and Macie Yelton had invited all for us to dinner and to see their newly-finished garage. This Henderson, KY, driveway full of Porsches let us know we had come to the right place.

New members Curt and Emily Hamilton (left) met Greg and Judy Collins as they all arrived at the Yelton's

While dinner was still warming, we toured the ultimate Porsche owner's happy place. There were plenty of doors and big fans for working on warm summer nights.

All the openness encouraged excited conversations.

The Yeltons have plenty of space for automotive shelter, servicing,...

... and new acquisitions?

Wine flowed and tasty snacks crunched during our socializing.

Macie called everyone to dinner.

The line formed quickly.

In keeping with the evening's high style, Macie and Cheryl Roethemeier prepared beef Wellington, embossed with the Porsche name.

Dinner was amazing, as always. Guests were scattered over several rooms. After this photo, Judy Collins volunteered to take a few pictures and prompted smiles from the various tables.

Everyone's happy here

And here.

And here.

With the tables filled, guests found other places to sit. Brody, too polite to beg, simply stared at Dawn and Phil Green with big sad eyes.

After dinner, Jerry Jindrich showed a video/slide show recapping 2016's SIR-PCA events. Made from samples of Susan and Jerry's photos taken throughout the year, the show was a good reminder of all we did and how much fun we had. If you missed it, all of the images came from 2016 Event Photos pages from this website.

Even later in the evening, it was time for more leisurely conversations or maybe even some high-fidelity listening in the music room. What a way to unwind.

A nice way to start a new year. Thank you, Criss and Macie Yelton!
