2018 Event Photos
Farmer and Frenchman Cafe and Winery

July 21st was a bright, sunny morning. Kentucky's Audubon State Park was a beautiful starting point for the day's drive.

You could sense the excitement as people arrived and the line of parked Porsches grew longer.

Curt Hamilton had planned a route using surprisingly engaging roads around Henderson that would lead to the Farmer and Frenchman Cafe and Winery for a delicious lunch.

Individual captions aren't really needed for this series of photos. Simply scrolling down the page should give you a good sense of the trip we made on Henderson's back roads.

After a lengthy but entertaining drive we turned off HWY 41 South onto the dusty gravel road leading to the Farmer and Frenchman.

After a few words from Jeff Jackson, Curt Hamilton introduced Hubert Mussat who welcomed us and described the delicious muti-course meal we were about to enjoy. SIR members filled six tables in the former tobacco barn.

Here are shots of people who are either fairly new to SIR or who only attend our events from time to time. Obviously, we are happy to see them whenever they can join us.

Our drive to the Farmer and Frenchman Cafe and Winery was especially memorable because of the entertaining roads, the great food, the amazing turnout, and the good company. The Southern Indiana Region may be one of the smaller PCA regions, but it must rank among the best for member participation!
