Farmer and Frenchman Cafe and Winery July 21st was a bright, sunny morning. Kentucky's Audubon State Park was a beautiful starting point for the day's drive. Individual captions aren't really needed for this series of photos. Simply scrolling down the page should give you a good sense of the trip we made on Henderson's back roads. After a lengthy but entertaining drive we turned off HWY 41 South onto the dusty gravel road leading to the Farmer and Frenchman. After a few words from Jeff Jackson, Curt Hamilton introduced Hubert Mussat who welcomed us and described the delicious muti-course meal we were about to enjoy. SIR members filled six tables in the former tobacco barn. Here are shots of people who are either fairly new to SIR or who only attend our events from time to time. Obviously, we are happy to see them whenever they can join us. Top (left to right): John Flesburg, Mary Hathaway and Larry Ferguson, Alan Fierst.
