Day 3 / Tuesday
I led and Terry ran trail on the Ben and Jerry's Tour today.

Lunch at a winery and then ice cream on the way back.

Another fantastic weather day and great scenery.

Just a few friends at the Concours Banquet Tues evening.

Day 4 / Wednesday
Rain, please go away! You might know the weather would go away for the autocross...Jackson luck I guess. Maybe it'll abate before Terry in heat 2 or for me in heat 3.

A couple of grid and paddock shots just before the heavens opened.

I presume the 918 will compete.

The rain started in the middle of Heat 1 at the AX.  Terry was in Heat 2 and endured showers thru'out.  On his first run his windshield fogged up on the last part of his 1st run which made for an interesting challenge...he ran his AC/defrost to ameliorate that issue on his next 2.  Somehow, Jackson luck changed; the rain stopped in the 3rd Heat and I got 2 1/3 dry runs.  I'll have official results in tomorrow's missive.  In the meantime, here's a few more shots.

The Pavilion where most of the banquets were held;...

... mountains behind the Pavilion,...
... and the second hotel for Parade.

Day 5 / Thursday
Terry and I worked the Thursday AX for the Improved and Modified classes.  Sally and Debbie just hung out at the condo.  Sally and Terry are on a dinner cruise tonight;  Deb and I will wing it.  Here are some shots from the day 2 AX.

Day 6 / Friday
Today's activity was the driving tour to Lake Champlain at Burlington VT.  Great scenery including alongside and over the lake.  Tour terminus was at a restaurant built out over the lake for lunch.  Herewith some shots....

OK, now it can be revealed...Terry Davis took the 6th Place trophy in the stock S09 class.  And, once again, I lost to a 2015 GT3 and finished 2nd in stock class S10.  Yes, the 918 competed, and in my class...kicked it's butt!  Couple of pix from the AX Banquet awards presentations plus shots of class results as well.

(This is the slide that was shown at the awards banquet when Terry was presented with his trophy.)

Day 7 / Saturday
Hard to believe things are winding to a close at Jay Peak. Today's kind of an unwind day for the SIR contingent.  Loaded the GT3 on the trailer and then headed down to the Pavilion for the Volunteer Luncheon. The Parade of Porsche this year will be along the Canadian border.  Debbie played at the water park. Pix of the "SIR Shuttle" hooked up and the Parade lineup.

Methinks the 356 cabbie was the one to drive on the Parade.

A few more shots before the Victory Banquet tonight; the indoor water park and some shots from the Tram to the top of Jay Peak.  One last memo later this eve...

Sad but true, Parade is over for another year.  For those of you unwilling to make the short jaunt to Spokane WA in 2017, start planning now for 2018 in Lake of the Ozarks, MO.  Two final shots, the fearsome foursome just before the Victory Banquet, and a banquet shot.

Be sure to attend SIR/PCA First Saturday; there will be Parade swag.  Thanks to our webmaster extraordinaire Jerry Jindrich for facilitating this Parade report!
